Rather than a click and point blog roll I thought I'd give a list of some of my favourite blogs that i''m currently reading and why I like them. They aren't all medical or ambulance related and but they are what I read and enjoy. Have a look! They all offer something different be it factual, light hearted or completely off the wall! An excellent blog from the front line of emergency medicine. Hard hitting and some excellent stories of life and death on the streets.

A Thousand Hats - view
A great new blog sharing her life in the police, focusing on the protection of children. Very emotive writing and I look forward to future posts. Well worth a read

Ambulance Man Dan - view
Another new EMS blog sharing the same musings and frustrations that we all do. Well worth a read!

Big Fashionista - view
Big Fashionista is a fantastic lifestyle blog which offers more than most. The brilliant writing style combined with tidbits and very relevant topics makes it a must read. As she says, she is just saying what you're thinking!

Bobby McPeel - view NEW! 
Bobby McPeel is a Police constable living the blue light dream! His blog is extremely well written and despite the serious message in his posts, the satirical humour shines through and makes each post as enjoyable as it is compelling! Well worth a read!

Bookworm Mummy - view
Bookworm Mummy is a personal blog combining her family life, photo's, book reviews, recipes and much much more. It's my feel good blog written by a wonderful woman who I'm proud to call a friend.

Inspector Gadget - view
No introduction needed really! The most read police blog and author of 2 great books. Well worth a look. Cracking blog.

Laptop Cop - view
A great police blog! Gives a great look from the inside at policing and society and shares similar views on this countries media! Have a look!

Mammy Woo - view
Mammy Woo used to be cool. Now she wees when she sneezes! Do you really need to know more! It's not just a mummy blog, it's a hilarious mummy blog. Do not deny yourself a laugh! Great writing and a thoroughly enjoyable read!

Mental Health Cop - view
Top blog! The go to place for everything Mental Health. His wealth of knowledge and experience on the subject shines through all of his posts. 

Minimum Cover - view
A very well written Police blog straight from the beat. Speaks of the frustrations faced by so many. Cracking read!

The Custody Sgt - view
A great insight into the life of a Custody Sgt. Writes very well about the pressures faced and policing in general. A very interesting and humorous read!

The Not So Big Society - view
A really interesting read on all things social & health care. Very informative and contributed to by a number of professionals. Worth a read.

The Paramedics Diary - view
This is the blog I read when I applied to do this job. It's what got me interested and has kept me interested. Very realistic. A great blogger and author.

The Thin Blue Line - view
A very well written and researched police blog looking at a lot of the political as well as practical aspects of police. A very informative, interesting read.

Think Left - view
I have no fixed political affiliation. I support a policy on its merit. This blog is the Left wing in me. A great political read. Worth a look!

Trauma Queen - view
Bringing you life in EMS from bonny Scotland. A very funny, witty account of his life on the streets. Should be in every blog roll.

Yellow Van Man Diaries - view
The Yellow Van Man blog is one I have been reading for ages and to my shock, just realised it wasn't here! It's a great read for all things Ambo! Enjoy!
